At August 25th we drove to my first baseball game to Chicago. It was amazing but the Cubs lost. I can’t believe how nice the field looks. It looks like in a Wii game. It was so fun to watch the baseball game with Kevin & Vero.

Then I had my welcome picnic. There I met the outbound exchange student. She makes her exchange in Italy. I enjoyed to talk with her about our feelings.

At August 31 I went to Scott’s house(member of my host club).There I drove the first time a canoe with his kids.

One day later couple brought me to the renaissance fair to Wisconsin. I took a lot of pictures and was a real tourist😅

The next weekend I had lunch at the 95th floor in Chicago. I had never before such a nice view. After this Ellen showed me Navy Pier.

I arrived at August 5th at Chicago. I did flight about 9 hours. At the airport did wait ,Ellen(host-mom), Logan(host-brother/nephew), Abby(host-niece) and Owen(host-nephew).

Before we drove to my new home, we met Gary Riegler (YEO). We were at Portillo’s were Kora(host-sister/niece) works.

In the morning of August 7th, I had my first Rotary Meeting at 6.30am. After the Rotary Meeting we had lunch with a girlfriend of my host-mum.

Then we took the train to Chicago. There we met Kevin(host-dad). At the train I took a picture with a conductor.

After we left the train, we met Kevin. We made the architectural boat tour. At the tour we had a lot of fun, although I was very tired. We took three times a taxi which was also a new experience for me. After we had a dinner we drove to my new home and I had a nap in the car.

At August 24th I had my first project with my Rotary Club. We painted walls in an apartment for woman’s with her children’s which need help.

At August 26th I had my first tennis practice at the JV team of PR. It is so fun!
